Jillian Miles

Conference and Events Operations Manager -

Jill has been involved with Nottingham Conference Centre since before the doors opened in 2010, and now oversees the whole team. "It has been an exciting journey since our initial opening"; Jill feels privileged to be part of a strong customer focused and award-winning team. The best part of Jill's role is the variety of events that we hold within NCC - no one day is ever the same!


David Thomas

Promotions and Events Assistant -

David is our current placement student who is working towards a degree in Accounting and Finance. With a strong interest in digital, David has taken the lead in all things social media and maintains the Nottingham Conference Centre website, promoting all high profile events for our audience to see and interact with. David feels that his role will strengthen his understanding of this ever expanding and evolving industry and mould him into a well - rounded business graduate with experience in finance, sales and digital marketing.

Miranda Mills

Conference Sales Assistant -

Miranda has become an integral part to the NCC team, handling the majority of initial enquiries, bookings and confirmations of all events held here at the Nottingham Conference Centre. With previous experience in organising events, Miranda has settled into her role with ease, liasing with clients with a professional demeanour and charm. 

Katie Hernandez

Sales and Marketing Manager -

Katie’s previous experience includes selling and coordinating events for a global hotel chain where she was trained to a high level in sales. Following this, Katie went on to manage high profile events at a prestigious country house hotel, where she was responsible for ensuring that all events were delivered to a high standard of customer service. In Katie’s previous role as sales executive & researcher she was in charge of ensuring all event enquiries were dealt with in a consistent and professional timely manner as well as ensuring the standards of practice were kept high by all the team. Katie is extremely proud of the work she prepares and produces for a professional and dedicated conference centre, that consistently exceeds customer expectations and offers a service that is unrivalled by others in the area.

Katy Reading

Sales Executive and Researcher -

Since graduating with a BA (Hons) in Events Management, Katy has had a strong focus on developing her career in the events industry. Previously she has worked on large scale sporting events in the public sector and also corporate events and weddings. Katy feels proud to work in a beautiful venue and within such a positive and friendly team at Nottingham Conference Centre. With a conscious emphasis on excellent customer service, she enjoys working on the fine details of events to ensure everything runs smoothly for the clients.


Nicky Mellows

Wedding and Events Administrator -

Nicky has worked in customer service all her working life in various roles from insurance to retail. Nicky joined Nottingham Conference Centre in June 2014, it is the first time she has worked in conferencing and finds that front of house is something that she relishes. Nicky is the first point of call for our visitors from the moment they arrive and she knows that first impressions really count and good customer service is an absolute necessity in her role. Each day presents different requirements from our customers and Nicky is here to help make the day go smoothly for them so they leave wanting to come back.

Emma Hinde

Team Leader -

Emma has worked in events for over ten years. Within her role as team leader, Emma is responsible for ensuring that all events are delivered to a high standard, taking accountability for the customer experience. She line manages all operational team members and offers support, advice and expertise on delivery of complex conferences. As the team at NCC is forever changing, Emma loves to be a part of it and to be able to contribute to the development and growth of the business. She loves the variety of people she meets, the opportunity to work with external clients and being involved in the planning of numerous events at any one time.

Sarah Page

Team Leader -

Sarah’s role as team leader ensures that every day is different, she enjoys the challenge of finding the solutions required to meet the individual needs for each event held here at NCC. Previous roles have provided a good all round knowledge of the events industry with experience of event management and working on behalf of both large and small venues.

Rebecca Williams

Conference and Events Executive - - currently on sabbatical leave

Rebecca has worked at the Nottingham Conference Centre since the centre opened in 2010. She has a strong events and administrative management background working within the public sector and academia.  Rebecca loves working in a fantastic venue and has enjoyed seeing the centre grow over the years. She never gets bored with the variety of events and ensuring the smooth running of all the events held at the Nottingham Conference Centre.

Abi Middleham

Conference and Events Executive -

Abi joined the team at Nottingham Conference Centre in August 2013. Her background prior to this was as Project Manager for an events management agency, responsible for the running of a variety events to include high profile Ministerial events, regional roadshows, residential events, international breakfast meetings and receptions, mainly for the public sector. Abi has worked at hundreds of venues right across the UK and in the USA, and her previous experience in the events sector has provided her with a great understanding of what the conference centre clients expect and is able to work with them to deliver great events that their delegates will remember. Abi will work with you in the run up to your event to ensure that all the venue logistics are in place before you arrive, although we are always ready for those last minute / on the day changes that are inevitable in the events industry.

Charlotte Aspinall

Wedding and Events Coordinator - - currently on maternity leave

Charlotte graduated in 2012 from a BA Hons in Events Management and previous experience in the conferencing and meeting industry, Charlotte's main role here is to look after the Weddings and special events. She also works on conferences which vary from small meetings, exhibitions, drinks receptions and Gala dinners. Charlotte has always been passionate about working in the Conference industry and it’s great to work with a highly dedicated and professional team.

James Birtles

Duty Manager -

After two years as conference and events team leader within the Village Hotel, hard work and dedication led James to be promoted to conference and events manager. James thrives on a challenge and succeeded in managing a team and delivering excellent customer service. Now James has taken on the role of duty manager within the Nottingham Conference Centre. High standards matter to James; he expects every client and delegate that walks through the door to have a first class experience within the conference centre. James and his team continue to make sure all rooms and spaces are ready for all the clients’ needs. He likes to meet and greet the organisers to make sure everything is in place for the smooth running of every event.

Neil Archer

Conference Services Assistant -

Before working at Nottingham Conference Centre Neil had a wide variety of customer service and hospitality experience, all of which lends itself to his role here, helping customers and visitors with anything they need in the run-up to their event and on the day. The Conference Centre is a unique place to work and is part of a stunning building. There is always something interesting happening and Neil enjoys being part of a great variety of events and meeting many people along the way.
